We’re looking for some entrepreneurial projects for a course offered to M&T students. Please read the below press release. If you have a venture for us to consider, please send an email to Casey Boland, Administrative Coordinator of the M&T Program.
MGMT 235 (Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship) is a course offered each year for M&T seniors. The focus of this course is on integrating the technical and business assessments and activities required for the successful development of technology-based ventures.
A major project for the course is the development of a business plan for commercializing an actual technology. In this assignment, teams of three or four students create formal plans for developing technology to meet commercial requirements as well as providing the necessary marketing, financing and organizational support required for a successful venture. The final business plans are often impressive and of sufficient quality and comprehensiveness that some have been used successfully to secure financing.
If you have or are aware of any technical venture possibilities that might be appropriate for this course, please consider contacting us.
